I hope you all had a wonderful holiday with your family and friends.

I wore this dress to my sister's baby shower a few weeks ago. I was so excited when I saw it included in Nordstrom's Black Friday sale! It is so flattering and the color/print is gorgeous. Also, it's bump friendly! I paired the dress with these stunning ankle-strap pumps. The beige suede is beautiful and they go with everything! Surprisingly, they are pretty comfy too.

Okay, I'm obsessed with this dress. It's probably one of the most figure flattering dresses I've bought in awhile!! I love the subtle leopard print and the small slit in the front. It looks really cute paired with a moto jacket or blazer for colder days. I can't believe how low it's marked, considering it's original price was $90. I'm also happy to say it's fully stocked! I'm wearing a size 4 (again, not maternity but great for the bump).

It's hard to see in this picture, but I wanted to share this long sleeve tee anyway. First, I love the rust color for fall. Second, the plush material is SOOOO soft! It's been another top on repeat for me lately. Also, my favorite nude lipstick is on sale! The shade is Velvet Teddy.

I can't say enough good things about this tunic sweater. The quality is great (100% cotton), the pattern is beautiful and the side slits give it a fun flare. I'm wearing a small. FYI- it comes in petite and plus sizes where there are more size options available. Also, if you're expecting and looking for maternity jeans, I HIGHLY recommend these!! They are only $25 today and you would never know they are maternity. The distressed style is right on trend and they are really comfy!

2019 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Clothing Try On + Review!

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (better known as the #nsale on social media!) is an annual 3 week sale featuring brand new fall and winter merchandise at discounted prices. Instead of starting at full price, these items are marked down FIRST then prices go back up after the sale ends! How awesome is that?! I'll be honest, this sales gets a lot of hype each year, especially on social media. Dare I say a little too much? That being said, I enjoy sharing it because I always find gems that become wardrobe favorites for me and last for years!

The sale starts TODAY for Nordstrom credit and debit cardholders! Only cardholders can shop the early access sale which runs from July 12th-18th. On July 19th, the sale opens up to the public. Prices go up on August 5th. If you don't have a Nordstrom card, be sure to sign up to take advantage of the sale right now! Popular items sell out in the first few days!! There are definitely advantages to shopping in stores and online. I love a good shopping trip as much as the next girl, but it's a good idea to browse the site first to get an idea of what's available before heading to the store. It's a little easier this way and if you are heading to your local Nordstrom, it's smart to go in with a game plan! Also, there's lots of merchandise online that isn't stocked in stores. Take inventory of your closet and see what you want to add to your fall and winter wardrobe. Do you need a new pair of jeans? How about fall booties or tall winter boots? And don't forget to stock up on your favorite beauty products too (they're good this year)! If you're shopping online, you've come to the right place. A great way to narrow down your search is by visiting your favorite blogs and Instagram accounts (after all, we do a lot of work to make your shopping way easier!). We're sharing the highlights from this sale and breaking it down a bit for ya! Here's my biggest tip: if you find something you like, grab it before it sells out. You can always exchange or return it later (free returns, by the way!).

I went in stores on Wednesday and tried on the clothing items that stood out to me. I took lots of pictures so I could share with you all! Sale prices and after sale prices are listed as well as some sizing and quality info.

Sizing: True to size, wearing a small.
Quality: I really like the pull on style and of course, the leopard print! You can style this skirt so many different ways. It's a little long on me, so if I bought this I would probably get a petite (I'm 5'4"). I'm definitely a fan, but it's pricey.

Sale: $24.90 // After Sale: $42

Sizing: TTS, wearing an XS here, but needed a small (didn't have it in stores)
Quality: This is the perfect shirt to dress up or down. I love how it was fitted enough to be tucked into skirts, high waisted pants, etc. It comes in a bunch of colors and is comfortable.

Sale: $15.90 // After Sale: $25

Sizing: Runs a little big...I sized down to an XS.
Quality: Caslon tees are always amazing quality and this one comes in a bunch of color options!

Sale: $84.90 // After Sale: $128

Sizing: Runs small, I sized down to a 26 (usually 27 or 28).
Quality: You can't beat Madewell jeans. The quality is the best! These are so soft and comfortable. These are my favorite jeans in the sale!!

Sale: $64.90 // After Sale: $98

Sizing:  TTS, but could size down. I'm actually wearing a medium here but would need a small.
Quality: soft. I love the color blocking, too! I'm pretty sure this will sell out fast.

Sale: $51.90 // After Sale: $78

Sizing: I would size up in these. I'm wearing a 29 but usually take a 27 or 28 in jeans.
Quality: Love the high waist and ripped knees. My only hesitation is that they stuck out a bit at the waist in the back (if that makes sense!?).

Sizing: Runs TTS. FYI- It's definitely an oversized look and is cropped. Also the sleeves are cuffed, but still pretty long.
Quality: Seems to be great quality and it's SO cozy! Makes me excited for fall.

Quality: Absolutely love these. The fit is so good and a great mid rise jean if you aren't a fan of high rise. The raw hem is fun too!

Sizing: Runs very big...I'm wearing an XS here and it's still big in the armpits.
Quality: The sizing is a little strange, but I love the top overall! I'm a huge fan of yellow right now and I also love the feminine pleated detail!

Sizing: I'm wearing a 27 in these. I think they are pretty TTS.
Quality: Comfortable and unique, but pricey. I really like them but won't be purchasing.

Sizing: Runs very big, size down!
Quality: This top is VERY soft and I love the color, however it shed a bit.

Quality: SO silky and quality seems great. This is one of my favorite tops in the sale + at a good price point!

Quality: They have a form of this cardigan in the sale every year and it's always a hot seller. It's comfy and the price point is great. I wear these on repeat all fall and winter!

Quality: These jeans check all the boxes...raw hem, distressed knee, great price! I've purchased this brand in the past and I think the quality is really good.

Quality: This cardigan is soooo soft. I spotted this in the catalog and knew I needed to try it on! I styled it here with this burgundy tee but I prefer it with a black top underneath.

Sizing: Runs big, size down 1 from your normal size.
Quality: Great quality for the price. Cute worn alone or layered during the winter months! A great closet basic, in my opinion.

Quality: Soft as butter, perfect lounge wear sweatshirt! Comes in leopard print too. I tried on both in stores and like the camo better!

Quality: I thought the quality was great for being faux leather! I adore the blush color and this is my favorite jacket in the sale.

Quality: Great quality for the price. I buy two of these tees during each #nsale and I wear them year round! Last years version of this top was on the top 10 best selling list from the sale. Need I say more?!

Quality: A great under $50 jeans option! I LOVE this leopard's a darker and more subtle than the FRAME jeans I styled above. Love the high waist, too!

Quality: Again, good quality for faux leather. I love that this is a simple jacket without too much hardware. The drape opening is unique, too!

Quality: I just love this tee! I'm definitely one of those people who doesn't really need coffee BUT I really want it. LOL! The cropped style is cute and on trend. As far as how well it holds up, I'm not sure, but seems to be decent quality.

Quality: I love a good plaid button down for fall! This one is really nice and VERY soft. It would be adorable with ripped denim, booties and a fedora!

Quality: Adidas work out tees are always excellent quality. This one is no different! It's a very breathable material and I love the coral pink color.

Quality: What can I say? You can't go wrong with Zella! The quality is always top notch. If you've never tried a pair of their leggings, now's the time!

Custom Stationary with Basic Invite

Good morning!

Today I'm excited to share the cutest stationary company with you all! I have ALWAYS loved creating the perfect invitation or program for an event. I'm a bit of a perfectionist (hello type A personality) and I've always wanted my invitations, programs, etc. to be classy and professional. From vocal recital programs, to wedding or baby shower invitations, to holiday cards, I've designed them all and always enjoy doing so!
When Basic Invite reached out to collaborate with me, I was really intrigued! I hadn't heard of their site before, so I immediately browsed their products to make sure it was a good fit for me and my blog. I fell in love with their adorable invitations and cards and was extremely impressed with some of the unique features they offer. One of the unique things about Basic Invite is that customers have the option of ordering a printed sample so they can preview how it prints, as well as  the paper quality, before placing a final order. They also allow customers to choose from an almost unlimited amount of colors! You can change the color of each element on the card to over 180 color options and then instantly preview it. I absolutely love how easy it is to navigate the site and I had a blast customizing these invitations. I decided to feature customized baby shower invitations in this post since that is the stage of life that I and many of my friends are in! I scrolled through the darling designs and selected six samples to customize (let me tell you, it was hard to only pick 6!). What I enjoyed most about the customizing process was playing around with the different color options! I ended up selecting a few of my own colors for some of these samples, while others I kept the suggested colors. I love how there are designs and styles available for everyone and I tried to select different invitations to showcase here on my blog.

How pretty are these?! The soft, feminine colors and floral designs are perfect for spring baby showers!
I also think baby animal designs are the cutest. Our invitations for my baby shower had baby elephants on them! Basic Invite has a bunch of giraffe themed invitations that are just precious.
