Logan's Nursery Reveal

I can't believe it's taken me this long to share Logan's nursery with you all (now that he's 9 months old, ha)! We finished most of it before Logan was born (which I highly recommend time after baby arrives!), but I had a few things to add to the wall decor before it was completed. My original plan for his nursery was to use a gray/white/aqua color scheme and elephant theme. The very first thing I purchased was the elephant/balloon canvas print above the dresser (from HomeGoods). I sort of based the whole room off of it! I ended up adding some more color and jungle animals with the bedding we chose. I had a hard time finding a bedding set that I loved, until I saw this Levtex Baby Zambezi one at Babies "R" Us! It had the gray and aqua colors I wanted, as well as elephants, and I thought the arrows were really cute. From there, the room started coming together! For doing it by myself (with help from Todd/other family), I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I'm no interior designer and while I consider myself to have an eye for fashion, I'm not great with home decorating/designing. I really admire people who are!!

I've linked everything that's available below or shared where it's from. If you have any questions, comment or send me an e-mail! Needless to say, Logan's bedroom is my favorite room in the house! :)

How I Whiten My Teeth At Home

Good morning, friends!

Today I'm excited to share my recent teeth whitening experience with you all! One of the first things I notice about people is their smile. I have always tried to take good care of my teeth, and throughout high school (post braces) and college, I was always pretty confident about my smile. I often had people comment on how white my teeth were and I took pride in that! That confidence has changed in the last few years, though...
It's hard to believe, but I didn't start drinking coffee until I was in graduate school (I know, right!?). My love for coffee since then has definitely taken a toll on my teeth. I've tried Crest Whitening Strips a few times, but never saw much of a difference. I got a professional whitening treatment done right before my wedding (5 years ago), and I was happy with the results, but I haven't whitened since then...well, until Smile Brilliant.
When Smile Brilliant reached out to me, I was thrilled to give their products a try! They provide dentist grade teeth whitening products for less than $200. This at-home teeth whitening kit is sent right to your front door! Being a new mom, this was a HUGE plus for me. I was really impressed with how easy the whole process was! First, Smile Brilliant sent me the molds to create my custom-fit whitening trays. I created the molds (they send easy to follow step-by-step instructions) and mailed them back in the provided envelope. I received my custom-fit trays about a week later and began the whitening process.
The best time to whiten is right before bed, since you aren't supposed to eat or drink afterward. You can wear the trays anywhere from 45 minutes to 3 hours. I would usually keep them in for about an hour. During that time, I went about my normal evening routine, such as dinner clean up, putting Logan to bed, watching TV, etc. I whitened for 10 days and plan to continue to use the trays as needed (I still have leftover whitening gel).
If you're interested in trying this product but have sensitive teeth and gums, Smile Brilliant has you covered! Along with the whitening gel, they send a desensitizing gel. After you finish whitening, just rinse your trays and apply the desensitizing gel. Wear your trays for another 15-20 minutes. I used the desensitizing gel a few times but then tried whitening without it. I ended up not having any sensitivities and didn't need it going forward.

I'm pretty pleased with my results so far and I plan to continue to use my trays as needed. Let me know if you guys give Smile Brilliant a try...I would love to see your results, too! Also, scroll to the bottom for exciting giveaway details.
