MATERNITY DRESS: Motherhood Maternity (sold out), similar here, herehere, here // OPEN TOE BOOTIES: Nine West, similar (only $39.95) // CLUTCH: Steve Madden, similar // EARRINGS: Baublebar, similar // RING: Baublebar // BANGLES: Hazel & Deene // WATCH: Fossil // LIP COLOR: Urban Decay Lip Pencil (PDA) + Urban Decay Lipstick (Crush)

Good morning! Can't believe tomorrow is Friday already... what do you have planned for the weekend? I'm seeing a few of my voice students perform in the musical Footloose at their high school tomorrow night and then we are off to my in-laws on Saturday morning. They are throwing me a baby shower at their church and we will also be visiting with family for the weekend!

Last week I stopped into Motherhood Maternity for a few items and browsed the sale racks while I was there. This striped side ruched dress was on clearance for only $9.99 (had to have it, right!?). It's so comfy and can be dressed up with heels or booties or dressed down with sandals or fashion sneakers. Also, a jean jacket is perfect over casual dresses like this! I'm looking forward to the weather warming up so I can wear comfy dresses more often. I'm limited with my outfit choices these days (LOL)! My exact dress is not online, but this multi striped one is the same style from Motherhood Maternity and I linked more above and in the widget below.

I have always been a fan of black & white clothing. The combo is so classy! I look at this dress as a blank slate with TONS of options for accessorizing. I love adding a pop of color to black/white and since summer is right around the corner, I went with hot pink for this outfit! The pops of color give this dress a needed flare and wow factor. I added my hot pink beaded clutch (similar here), pink earrings, and bright pink lipstick (new favorite lip set- details linked above)!

Thanks for stopping by!

Maternity Dress (wearing size 6 for reference) // Pumps // Maternity Shapewear (perfect for under dresses!) // Earrings from LOFT, sold out // Bracelet // Ring // Lip Liner (PDA) + Lipstick (Crush)

This past Saturday I (and baby DeWire!) was showered with so much love from all the special women in my life! My mom, sister and mother-in-law worked very hard to throw a beautiful shower and I couldn't be more thankful! I was overwhelmed with love and support from everyone who came and I had such a great time. I thought I would share a few pictures from the shower as well as my outfit details and a 30 week bump date!!

ASOS has been my go-to site for maternity dresses (although they have tons of non maternity dresses too!). They have unique and affordable clothing and so far, I've had great luck with sizing (except a pair of jeans that I had to return). This navy twist neck skater dress ended up being perfect for Saturday (only $34 and all sizes available)! I love the style and flattering cut. Also, I found the perfect affordable maternity shapewear at Motherhood Maternity! I definitely recommend it for under dresses (smooths you out + avoids panty lines). I wore a pair of low nude pumps and that's honestly all I could handle. The further along in pregnancy you get, the achier your ankles get! All other details are linked above and below.

30 Week Bump Date

How far along are you? 30 weeks and 5 days (about 9 weeks left!)

How big is baby? Around 3lbs (size of a large cabbage)

Name? We have a few top contenders, but haven't come to an agreement yet!

Food cravings? I honestly haven't had any weird cravings, but I think I've been craving sugar lately (especially candy!). I also love fruit and crave that often!

Am I exercising? I'm trying when I can...I am going to prenatal yoga classes and I HIGHLY recommend them if you are expecting! I also try to take walks and am looking forward to the weather warming up so I can get out more!

Physical changes? Besides a continually growing bump, there have definitely been changes once I hit the 3rd trimester. I am much achier now by the end of the day in my ankles and back. I started having slight puffiness/swelling in hands in morning and feet/ankles at night depending on how active I am. This started when Todd and I were in Nashville (but I do think flying had a lot to do with it, too). I'm also feeling more tired recently!

Do you feel a lot of movement? Yes! He has been very active lately. I especially notice it in the evenings when I'm relaxing after dinner. It's a really cool feeling!

How is the nursery coming along? We are finally making strides with the nursery. We redid the nursery room (used to be office) so we had to paint and install crown molding, baseboard and carpet. Now that that is all done, we just put together the crib on Sunday and started putting away gifts in the closet. It is slowly coming together! I will definitely be doing a nursery reveal post when it is completed so stay tuned.

Excited or nervous!? BOTH! The closer we get to my due date, the more 'real' things are becoming! I can't wait to meet him, but there is definitely a mixture of excitement and nerves at this point. I'm pretty sure that is normal!

Thanks for reading!!

Shop My Recent Travel Outfits

Happy Wednesday!

It's been awhile since I've posted...things have been very busy around here! My husband and I were visiting Nashville last week for a few days and then I was in Lancaster over the weekend with my college roommates! It was a lot crammed into one week, but also really fun! It's always tough getting back into the swing of things after a trip and this week is no different. I've had a lot to catch up on and I think my pregnant self is pretty run down from all the traveling last week. I'm feeling so sluggish which makes it hard to get much accomplished!

Anyway, I had intended on doing more blogging in Nashville, but it was absolutely FREEZING there (coldest few days they had all winter) which made it hard to explore and take photos. Plus, the trip was for Todd and I to just getaway for a few days before baby comes! I did manage to get a few outfit pictures over the past week, so I thought I would share the details...

This was my travel outfit from Philly to Nashville. I kept things really comfy with leggings (not maternity, just keep stretching with the bump!) and Nike sneakers (local people- these are available at the Nike outlet in Limerick).
Maternity Top (love this...perfect for layering!) // Leggings // Nike Sneakers (so comfy and the bronze/bone colors match everything!) // Bucket Bag // Fringe Scarf from Nordstrom, similar here and here

This photo was taken near the Parthenon in Nashville. Such a gorgeous site to visit!
Tunic Sweater (extra 40% off!) // Denim from Seven Jeans, similar // Bucket Bag // Nike Sneakers // Monogram Necklace from Benevolent Jewels, similar

On our first full day in Nashville, we visited the Johnny Cash Museum. They had the cutest onesies in the gift shop!! The museum was really nice and not overwhelmingly big...worth touring if you are in the city!
Tunic Sweater sold out, similar // Fringe Infinity Scarf from Nordstrom, similar here and here // Maternity Jeans // Bangles here, here, here, here

This was the COLDEST day while we were in Nashville (high of 30 and flurries!). We just kept hopping from one coffee shop or store to the next to escape the cold. This is ZolliKoffee and it was a really cute cafe! It also has a small brewery attached to it.
Blush Cold Shoulder Top from Nordstrom, very similar here // Blush Pea Coat is Lauren Conrad from Kohl's, similar here and here and also love this trench (in bright pink) for spring! // Seven Jeans Denim, similar // Lucky Booties // Tassel Necklace from LOFT, similar (extra 40% off!) // Infinity Scarf from Francesca's, similar // Ear Jackets

If you're in Nashville, I highly recommend the Sky Blue Cafe for breakfast/brunch! It's a small place in East Nashville with a cozy atmosphere and they do have outside seating if it happens to be warm when you are there (LOL).
Utility Jacket from Target, similar // Fringe Infinity Scarf from Nordstrom, similar here and here

This was an outfit I packed for dinner one night. I didn't end up wearing the heels due to some ankle swelling and freezing temps, but this tunic looks great with booties or flats, too! Also, these earrings are my favorites!!
Tunic Top // Seven Jeans Denim, similar // Nine West Pumps // Leopard Clutch (also love this one) // Earrings

This photo was taken over the weekend at the Hotel Hershey here in PA. I had a quick one night getaway with my college roommates! It was so fun to reminisce on our college days and have a relaxing night away.
Nine West Tunic Top (purchased at Boscovs) // Seven Jeans Denim, similar // Similar Gray Booties // Similar Black Kate Spade Crossbody Bag // Lip Liner (heroine) + Lipstick (flat out fabulous)

So this photo was taken before my trips, but I thought I would include it anyway! LOFT has some great spring tops on sale right now (this one is sold out but I linked others below). This is a very standard casual but cute outfit for me lately!
Striped Top (from LOFT- sold out), love this and this one (only $12.88!) // Seven Jeans Denim, similar // Monogram Necklace from Benevolent Jewels, similar // Adidas Sneakers

Thanks so much for stopping by! I'll be back to sharing more outfit posts (including maternity wear) soon!

Styling a Spring Tee Dress with Sneakers

STRIPED MATERNITY DRESS: Target // WHITE DENIM JACKET: Loft, very similar // SNEAKERS: Adidas // BUCKET BAG: Lucky Brand (65% off!) // TASSEL EARRINGS: Baublebar (sold out), similar here and here (fuchsia) // WATCH: Fossil // RING: Baublebar // BANGLES: Alex & Ani here, here, here, here // MONOGRAM NECKLACE: Benevolent Jewels, similar // SUNGLASSES: Le Specs

Happy Thursday!
This week has been super busy and flew by! I'm trying to enjoy the gorgeous weather we are having today before winter returns tomorrow. This back and forth weather is crazy! What do you all have planned for the weekend? Todd and I leave for a short babymoon trip to Nashville on Sunday. I'm really looking forward to getting away for a few days...still have a lot to do before we go though! If any of you have Nashville recommendations (restaurants, cafes, sites, etc.) please let me know in the comments below! We planned our trip last minute so we are still figuring out our agenda.

Today's casual outfit is perfect for transitioning into the spring season. I've always loved tee dresses but even more so with my baby bump. They are so comfy and versatile! For today's look, I'm styling this striped navy Liz Lange short sleeve tee dress (also comes in bright blue) from Target with white sneakers (love these) and a denim jacket. As I'm entering my last trimester, this outfit is VERY practical for me but doesn't sacrifice fashion! I'll wear this dress all spring and into the summer, too.

I'm carrying my leather Lucky Brand bucket bag AGAIN because...well, it just goes with everything! It's the perfect casual bag for almost any outfit and it's 65% off right now at Nordstrom Rack!

To pull out the pink stripe in the dress, I accessorized with bright pink tassel statement earrings. These were on sale a few weeks ago at Baublebar and are long gone now, but I love these from Baublebar and also these in fuchsia from Target (Sugarfix by Baublebar). Bright tassel earrings are on trend, fun, and perfect for spring and summer!

Thanks for stopping by!
