2015 Blogging Recap {most popular posts}

Can you believe 2015 is coming to an end!?

This year definitely had its ups and downs. I got sick A LOT which was not fun, but some great things happened as well! One of the exciting things about 2015 was starting this blog! After thinking about it for awhile, I decided it was time to begin this crazy adventure

I thought it would be fun to do a recap of the past 5 1/2 months I've been blogging. Some of my favorite looks made the list, and others didn't. I always find it interesting which posts get the most views!

These are my 6 most popular looks of 2015...

This was my first fall fashion post. I love this simple white LOFT top paired with olive green pants and a statement necklace. The olive, camel and wine colors are perfect for fall!
By the way, these adorable scalloped flats are still available in several colors at Kohl's.

This was one of my favorite posts! I teamed up with 13 other fashion bloggers to give tips for adding fringe to your fall wardrobe. I love how each of these ladies styled fringe clothing and accessories. If you missed this fun post, check it out here!

This SheIn Plaid Blanket Scarf was a big hit and it's still available and on sale for $14.50! I love how a colorful plaid scarf looks with a chambray shirt.
Check out this post for an easy step by step tutorial on how to tie a blanket scarf.

Another favorite look was this casual autumn outfit for outdoor events. It was the most beautiful fall day when we took these pictures! A big 2015 fashion trend was pattern mixing, especially plaid and stripes. I personally love this combination! Apparently you guys did, too! :)

This was definitely one of my favorite outfits. I love this sweater dress with casual riding boots and the leopard print waist belt (#soflattering). This dress is still available at LOFT in certain colors and sizes, and it's an extra 60% off!!

In 2015, I discovered the ponte pant (a thick and flattering legging!). I've been wearing these LOFT ponte pants all the time. They are the perfect leggings to pair with oversized sweaters and tunics! This burnt orange turtleneck sweater is one of my favorite winter wardrobe additions!

So, which of these 2015 outfits is your favorite!?

Thank you for reading my blog. I'm looking forward to continuing this journey in 2016!
Happy New Year!

Styling a Tunic with OTK Boots

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! Todd and I spent Christmas Eve and most of Christmas Day with his side of the family. On Christmas Eve, we had a delicious dinner and I had the pleasure of singing at my in-laws church that night. It was really special! Christmas Day was low key with Todd's family and then in the evening, we visited my parents for dessert and exchanging gifts. I'm sure for most of you, the festivities are still continuing! I, too, have several family dinners and get-togethers this week!

In today's post, I'm sharing a chic and polished winter outfit idea
I love how it turned out...New Years outfit, maybe!? :)
Many of these items are on sale, so keep reading...

This beautiful roll tab sleeve tunic is available at Nordstrom in several colors and patterns and is 40% off, making it $25.20! Plus, you always get free shipping on I love the high-low style of this shirt and it's the perfect length to pair with leggings. I don't usually wear a lot of blue (it was a struggle not to go with the red one, haha), but I'm glad I went with this color for something different! For size reference, I'm wearing a small.

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Happy Christmas week!! I just love the Christmas season...and as the song goes, it's is the most wonderful time of the year!

Today's look is such a fun and comfy winter outfit! This outfit could be worn for Christmas or New Years Day and is a cute alternative to the classic red and green (but don't get me wrong, I do LOVE Christmas colors!).

My gray high-low sweater is from LOFT and on sale for $17.93! I love the side slits and it is seriously so cozy.  I sized up for a baggy fit. There are only a few colors and sizes left, so get it quick!

If you're in the Philadelphia area, check out the new store, called Primark, that recently opened up in the King of Prussia mall. I met a friend last week and we literally spent hours in the store! Primark is an Irish brand and there are only two stores in our country (the second is in Boston). The prices are super low and they carry everything from clothing to accessories to shoes to home decor! It reminds me of a nicer, more organized H&M. Anyway, this geometric scarf was one of my purchases. I love the colors and pattern, and you can't go wrong with fringe! BTW, it was only $9 (I also got the cutest pom pom beanie for $5!). Eat, Drink & Be Cozy on Christmas

Outfit Details

Next week is Christmas and I'm so excited. What are your Christmas Eve traditions? We have always attended our church Christmas Eve service, followed by dinner and a gift exchange with extended family. Then, we head home to change into comfy clothes and relax before bed!

In today's post, I'm featuring some cute and festive comfy clothes for Christmas Eve or Christmas Morning. I got these gray and red snowflake leggings at Gap on Black Friday, They are SO COMFY and come in several color/pattern options. Today they are 40% off with code GIFT and 50% off with code DEC50 for cardmembers! For reference, I'm wearing a size small. I paired the leggings with my knit cowl neck sweater from Forever 21. It's so warm!

I love festive clothing and this thermal Eat, Drink & Be Cozy pajama top is perfect for relaxing at home on the holidays. It’s technically a sleep shirt, but I think it can be worn any time and I plan to style it with jeans and comfy boots soon! It's currently on sale at Kohl's for $13.99!!

I managed to get Jax to join me for some pictures! He HATES his winter turtleneck sweater and wasn't happy. He looks so cute though! Haha :)

Have a good day and thanks for reading!

Styling a Cozy Tunic Sweater

Happy Saturday! Can you believe we are two weeks away from Christmas!?

The outfit I'm featuring today is chic and comfy (gotta love comfy style!). I recently wore this to a jewelry party I hosted. I think it's a great outfit for many holiday events, such as parties, lunches/dinners, Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, etc.

This Sun & Shadow Turtleneck Sweater from Nordstrom was a fabulous Cyber Monday buy. It is oversized and so comfy. The tunic length is perfect for pairing with leggings, or looks great with skinny jeans! It comes in a few color options and is 40% off right now, making it $32.40. I have a few friends who own this stylish turtleneck in other colors, and they love it too! This red/orange color is beautiful and after debating the other colors, I'm really glad I went with this one.

Here's a look at the length of the back of the sweater...

Fashion for Holiday Occasions

Happy Saturday!
Can't believe it's December already, can you!? I LOVE the Christmas season and the many festivities that happen this month! :)

Today I'm styling an outfit that is perfect for all those holiday occasions, from parties to dinners to family gatherings...

I scored much of this ensemble on Black Friday. My "go to" store, LOFT, had great sales and I snatched up this wine colored turtleneck tunic and black ponte pants. The tunic was on sale for $20 on Black Friday but it is 50% off right now online, making it $30 (still a great price!). It comes in several colors and almost all sizes are available! I love the length and the soft, thin material.

Here's a look at the length of the tunic in the back...
