ASOS Navy Skater Dress

I hope you all are having a good week so far. Today I'm sharing the ASOS navy maternity skater dress I wore to my first baby shower. It's still available and only $35 so I figured I'd style it again (it's a GREAT spring/summer dress and really comfy!). To be honest, I'm running out of things to wear let alone clothing to share with you here on the blog! I think I wore this Target striped dress 3 times last week (haha). Yesterday I went to LOFT in search of a few non maternity pieces for upcoming posts (let me tell you, it is NOT easy to find non maternity clothing to fit this bump LOL). I had some success though and left with a top and dress! :)

There are so many things I love about this navy skater dress. When I saw it online, I was drawn to the unique twist neckline! It takes a basic navy dress and gives it that WOW factor. I also think it is very flattering and slimming! Side note: I realized I've been wearing a lot of blue on the blog lately, which is funny because a few years ago I NEVER wore blue (was convinced it wasn't my color)! Anyway, if you're expecting and have a spring event (showers, graduations, etc), I definitely recommend this dress. For a non maternity option, ASOS has this similar skater dress on sale for $40.

There are many heel options you could pair with this dress (I wore nude pumps to my shower), but I went with my gray lace ups from Kohl's (Vera Wang) for this look. Gray and navy is such a chic color combo! I wore these heels a few posts back with another navy dress and received so many compliments. At only $39.99, they are a summer must have!! 

I'm loving blush + navy together lately so I immediately grabbed my perforated blush satchel to wear with this dress. Adding a light pink bag instantly gives an outfit that soft, spring vibe! My satchel is from Target but this Jennifer Lopez one at Kohl's is very similar (on sale for $65).
