Spring Shirt Dress

Well, it's officially spring this Sunday! We are having pretty dreary weather around here this week, as you can see in these photos. It finally stopped raining today, though! :) I'm going to try to get out and take Jax on a walk!

With spring and Easter right around the corner, this gorgeous lapis shirt dress makes the perfect wardrobe addition. I recently found it on sale at LOFT and they have it online in all sizes for an extra 40% off (comes to $38.93)! I love the color lapis for spring and the long sleeves make this dress a great transitional piece. You could wear it for Easter Sunday, bridal or baby showers, wedding rehearsals, date night, to a show, and more! So. many. options.
I styled this shirt dress with and without a scarf and I love both options! I recently received this Vera Bradley fringe scarf as a gift. It's sooo soft and lightweight and the floral/cheetah print is super fun! I like the dress worn alone, but accessorizing with a scarf definitely adds some flair to the look. The floral print gives it a "spring vibe", too!

The trendy colors for spring this year are light pink and blush tones. I wore my pink Merona satchel from Target to give this outfit even more of a spring feel. I love the soft pink color against the bright lapis! This bag is from last spring, but I linked two other options from Target and Kohl's below.
These Nine West open toe booties are my favorites! Again, they are a great transitional shoe between closed toe booties and sandals. I love the block heel, which is very trendy this year. Open toe booties look adorable with dresses, skirts, or skinny jeans. I got this pair in the fall from the Nine West outlet, but you can shop two similar pairs linked below!

For accessories, I went with simple gold and two tone jewelry!

  4. OK, so I loved this outfit so much (head to toe) that I featured on my blog today so you can take a peek. I might have to own this dress if available. You mixed it with so many pieces that are currently on trend like the stunning blush bag and those open-toe block heel booties that I love. Also, very pretty earrings and that pretty scarf matches the dress to perfection, Tamara. =)

  6. I went to a wedding here several years ago and fell in love. The wedding venues are beautiful and I was so incredibly impressed and charmed with this place that when I got engaged, we didn't even shop around. It was this place or bust.
