Winter Florals

Today I'm sharing a dressy way to style florals in the winter! This fancy outfit is perfect for a weddings or bridal showers, Valentine's Day (if you're going somewhere dressy!), and more. I'm loving light pink and blush tones this year and I'm happy to say that they aren't just spring and summer colors! Winter pastels are very trendy this year...

This gorgeous Ivanka Trump floral dress was one of those EPIC finds from T.J. Maxx. Originally priced over $100, it was on clearance for $20!! It was the only one on a random sale rack and just happened to be in my size. I thought for sure something was wrong with it...but nope, it was just one of those AWESOME DEALS! This dress is made so well...fully lined and lovely material. I would consider it to be a year round dress. I just love the pink, blush and black colors. I can't wait to style it in the summer with open toe heels and no tights. However, since it is still freezing and snowy in the Philly area, I'm sharing how to style this dress for winter. I linked a few floral dresses of similar style and different price ranges below...

To make the dress "winter appropriate", I added a short black cardigan. I've had this open front cardigan for a few years and it's the perfect style to wear with dresses. It's from the Ann Taylor outlet, but you can shop a similar one here
I borrowed this adorable pink Coach purse from my sister to style with this dress...honestly, I love it so much, I'm not sure I'm returning it (although she does have my OTK boots for collateral)! LOL. This bag is from the Coach Outlet. I found a similar one at Coach.com although it is pricey. Check out my previous post on the Kate Spade surprise sale...they have some beautiful light pink bags for good prices (hurry- sale ends today)!
For jewelry, I accessorized with silver. The silver cuff bracelet was a gift from my parents who recently visited Charleston, SC. This handmade cuff was bought at a local store and made by The Artist Jay. The floral drop earrings are from Benevolent Jewels (site currently down), where I purchased my monogram necklace. I love how they look with the floral dress! Baublebar has some similar ones- here and here
Let's talk about these Halogen Studded T-Strap Pumps from Nordstrom. They are an affordable dupe for the popular Valentino ones (really, who can afford those!?). The black patent leather makes them a great year round shoe! I really like how these edgy heels look with the feminine dress...AND they are currently 40% off!! :) :) :)
