Styling the Perfect Tee that Gives Back

Happy Monday, friends!

Today's post is all about the PERFECT gray tee. I have a tough time finding a good quality t-shirt that doesn't shrink, stretch out, or rip. I'll find one I love and after a few wears, I'll notice a small hole. This has happened so many times (ugh)! Well, my friend Carly of Thirty Something Fashion felt the same way, so she created her own t-shirts, made right here in Pennsylvania! How cool is that!? What's even more awesome is that for every tee sold, she donates $1.50 to K.Hovnanian Children's Hospital in New Jersey.
When Carly asked if I wanted to try out her new tee, I jumped at the chance! I couldn't be more impressed with the fit and quality of this shirt. The material is so soft and the fitted shape is very flattering. The v-neckline falls at just the right spot and I also love how the tee is thick enough that you don't need a cami or tank underneath.
Thirty Something Tees come in two colors, gray and white. The gray runs slightly smaller than the white, which is more of a relaxed fit. Both tees cost $48 and come in sizes XS-XL. Trust me, this t-shirt is worth the investment, and the best part is that it gives back to the community!
I wanted to share a few ways to layer this tee. It looks great alone, but for this time of year, it fits perfectly under cozy cardigans! I wore my new 'go to' olive cardigan from Kohl's. This Sonoma Goods for Life cardigan is lightweight and great for the fall season. It comes in several colors and is currently on sale for $17.99!

Our Trip to Central Europe

Happy weekend, friends!

It feels like forever since I've posted on here. If you follow me on social media, you know I was traveling in Central Europe! I went with my husband, Todd, sister, Kim, and brother-in-law, John. At our final stop in Prague, we met up with our friends, Dan and Noelle. We got back this past Monday night, but I caught a nasty cold so I've been out of commission this week. I wanted to do a post to share a little from our trip. This is more of a travel post than a fashion post, but I've included outfit details. We ended up with way colder weather than anticipated, so I pretty much wore the same jacket and scarf every day! We even had to buy a few sweaters in Austria. Apparently that area had a very warm September and as soon as October hit, the temps dropped big time! Anyway, I hope you enjoy this post and feel free to comment below if you have any questions...

This was my travel outfit from Philly to Munich, Germany. I always wear my bulkiest shoes on the plane so they don't take up space in my suitcase. These booties are Vince Camuto and I've had them for a few years. They are so comfy! I also like to wear long sleeves on planes because I always get cold. And of course, it's best to wear your hat so it doesn't get smashed in your suitcase!

Our first stop was Munich, Germany for Oktoberfest. Whether you like beer or not, Oktoberfest is definitely worth experiencing! It is a huge event with multiple tents (you can order drinks/food and there is music entertainment), tons of food stands and restaurants, carnival rides, and more! My favorite part was seeing all the festive outfits (lederhosen) and meeting people from around the world. If you're lucky, you may even spot a celebrity...we saw Arnold Schwarzenegger!
This was my breakfast one morning...a giant fresh baked donut!!
I loved this gorgeous fall tree right outside our Airbnb apartment...most of the trees were still green but this one had completely changed!

Circle Hem Tunic with Faux Leather Leggings

Happy Wednesday, friends!

I can't believe we are at the end of September already. Tomorrow evening, Todd and I are headed to Central Europe with my sister and her husband. This trip has been in the works for awhile and we are very excited!! It will be a busy trip, but I will try to blog if possible. If not, I'll be sharing outfits from the trip here on the blog when we return. In the meantime, I'll definitely be on Instagram, Snapchat (tampezz) and Facebook, so follow along if you would like!

On to today's outfit...
Let's start with this Express Extreme Circle Hem Tunic! I'm a huge fan of the circle hem design (very flattering) and it's the perfect fall sweater...lightweight with three quarter length sleeves. I also really like the length- long enough for leggings but also a good length to wear with skinny jeans! This tunic comes in black, too.
I styled the tunic over my LOFT faux leather leggings. I sometimes like to mix brown and black, especially if the brown color is more of a tan or cognac, like this tunic. Faux leather leggings are very trendy again this year and there are a lot out there to shop! LOFT has a similar version and Nordstrom has a pair for $29 (these get great reviews). I really like mine because they are thicker than normal leggings (more of a ponte pant)! This pair at LOFT is very similar.
This leopard print scarf gives the outfit just the POP it needs! I love an all neutral outfit, but I like to add a stand out accessory (a printed scarf like this, a hat, animal print shoes, etc). I wore the scarf open and draping in the front, but if it were cooler I would wrap it around my neck! This scarf is from last year's Nordstrom winter collection, but they have a very similar one again this year.

White Denim After Labor Day

Happy weekend, friends!

Any exciting plans?? We are headed to NYC tomorrow to visit my brother and go to the San Gennaro Feast at Little Italy! It's a festival with food stands lining the streets. We try to go every September...the food is DELICIOUS! On Sunday, we have a family dinner in the afternoon that I'm also looking forward to.

Today I'm styling white denim after Labor Day. Don't put your white jeans away just yet! White denim can be styled many ways during the fall season. I love pairing my jeans with booties and a fall colored top, like this olive utility vest. Accessorizing with a hat or scarf also make white denim fall appropriate! These skinny jeans are from LOFT and on sale for $30 with code SHOPSMART.
This olive utility vest is one of my favorite fall wardrobe pieces! I purchased mine from Kohl's in the spring, but I found two similar vests at Macy's that I love. The American Rag Utility Vest is on sale for $37.99 and the Maison Jules Zip-Front Utility Vest is on sale for $34.99. Utility vests are so favorite way to style mine is over a long or short sleeve tee, solid or striped!
This adorable Franco Sarto crossbody bag is from Boscovs and was $30 on sale. I bought it for our upcoming Europe trip, which we leave for next week. It's the perfect little travel bag! I can't find it online for some reason, but it's currently in stores. I also really like this one

Shop My Current Fall Favorites

14. SheIn Faux Leather Magnetic Closure Saddle Bag, $12.99

Happy Wednesday!
I hope you all are having a great week so far...

There are so many chic fall clothes and accessories out right now! Today I've rounded up a few of my favorites at different prices for you to shop. I love the SheIn Plaid Fringe's a lightweight blanket scarf and you can't beat the price ($6.89)! I've also been shopping for choker necklaces lately (I can't believe they are trending again but I'm liking the new styles!). Baublebar has a great selection- I love this acrylic monogram (especially in blonde marble) and this bow choker. Also, if you're looking for cozy fall sweaters, Nordstrom has a huge selection- like this textured knit pullover. The rust color is perfect for fall!

Thanks for reading and happy shopping!

Open Front Sweater Vest

Hi friends!

One of my favorite fall trends this year is the open front drape vest. It's flattering on everyone and there are so many styles out there to choose from! The sweater vest I'm wearing today is from Kohl's. The brand is SONOMA Goods for Life and it also comes in a charcoal gray color. I can't seem to find it on the website, which is strange because it is new in stores and fully stocked! This Apt. 9 fringed vest is similar. Otherwise, check out your local Kohl's to shop the one I'm wearing!
Under the vest, I wore a simple long sleeve black shirt. With a sweater that drapes (like this vest or a poncho), it works best to wear a fitted shirt underneath. When putting this outfit together, I realized I don't have many fitted long sleeve tops. I would love one in a red or orange color for fall!
For a fun fall accessory and to pull some color into this outfit, I wore my Steve Madden felt fedora hat. Mine was purchased at T.J.Maxx, but this Forever 21 hat is very similar. I LOVE the burgundy color! These hats are super popular again this year...I'm seeing them everywhere!

Burnt Orange Blouse with Fall Neutrals

Hi friends, did you have a good weekend? Todd was on night shift all weekend but I kept pretty busy! Friday we celebrating a friend's 30th birthday, Saturday I was in a cornhole tournament with my sister and brother-in-law (I did NOT do well...meh), and Sunday I went to church, out to lunch and spent the afternoon soaking up the sun at a local pool. That was most likely the last pool day of the season! I'll miss summer, but I'm looking forward to slightly cooler temps.
Today's outfit features one of my favorite fall colors, styled with neutral accessories. I love shades of burnt orange and red for the fall season! This blouse is the Original Fit Convertible Sleeve Portofino Shirt for Express. If you're looking for a  trendy yet classic button down, this one is perfect! I love the semi-sheer material and fitted style. The roll up sleeves offer a casual vibe, too. This top comes in a bunch of colors and runs true to size. Right now, they are buy 1, get 1 half off!
